Our Counselors Jasons Photo for Website e1631894107864 300x243I spent the first 15 years of my career in the business world, so I understand firsthand
the stresses related to work and family that lead a person to seek support.

For the past 15 years, I’ve been a therapist helping individuals handle those life
stressors and challenges. Over the years I have gained diverse experience working with
people experiencing depression; anxiety; post-traumatic stress; marriage, family and
other relationship issues; and life transitions and losses.

I believe that my non-judgmental, caring, and competent approach creates an environment which provides the best setting for change.

I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotionally Focused
Therapy (EFT). Both therapies have been well-researched and show scientifically-based positive results.

I want to make sure you not only learn to manage challenges, but you also experience
more vitality in your life. Therapy is as much about living a joyful life as it is about
dealing with problems.

Positive change is possible. I have witnessed it over and over again. We’re living in stressful times. Trying to just push our way through can only last for so long. I’m glad you’re taking this healthy step by finding some support for yourself.

I look forward to helping you through this journey.

I commend you for taking the first step towards considering therapy. It takes strength and courage to confront your unique challenges, and engaging in therapy can be an incredibly rewarding experience. With the right support, anyone can embark on a path of healing. It’s remarkable how simply being heard and understood can set us on that journey. I don’t see unwanted feelings or behaviors as “bad”; instead, I view them as responses to very real pain, which can be addressed with respect, acceptance, and ultimately lead to healing and positive transformation.

My passion lies in helping relationships not only mend but also flourish. This encompasses couples, families, and parent-child relationships. I also have the privilege of providing care to individuals facing challenges that may seem insurmountable on their own. My primary approach is Emotionally Focused Therapy, a scientifically proven method that enhances relationships and fosters personal healing. Every session will be tailored to best meet your specific needs and objectives.

I find continuous inspiration in the growth that can stem from openly sharing our pain in a safe and comforting environment. This is the essence of therapy. Healing awaits on the other side of what we may sometimes be inclined to avoid. Seeking help can be an act of kindness and bravery, both for yourself and your loved ones. I eagerly anticipate embarking on this journey with you!

¡Estoy emocionada de comenzar este viaje contigo!
